Coming soon: a book tour of the USA!

February 25, 2022, 1 Comment

It’s been a while but I’m coming back to the United States for a whirlwind book tour. There will be seven events in May and early June, most of them open to the public. Details below, as far as they’re fixed but at least you can save the dates. I’d love to see you there!

The focus of the events will be my new children’s atlas of Switzerland, Cartographica Helvetica, but I’ll have other books, such as Swiss 52 and Swiss Watching, on sale as well.

Monday 9 May, New York: the talk at the Swiss Consulate General is by invitation only, but I’m working with the Swiss Society of New York so that you can still buy signed books.

Thursday 12 May, Philadelphia: an evening hosted by the Swiss Honorary Consul in Philadelphia. Location to be confirmed. More information as soon as I have it.

Saturday 14 May, Washington DC: the book talk will be at Lost City Books at 7pm. Open to everyone, although children must be accompanied by an adult.

Wednesday 18 May, Sarasota: the Swiss American Club of Sarasota has invited me to come and speak about Switzerland. More details once I have them.

Thursday 26 May, Miami: a book talk at Books & Books in Coral Gables, organised by the Swiss Club Miami and Swiss Consulate but open to everyone.

Wednesday 1 June, Monroe: my fourth (or mabye fifth?) time at Turner Hall in Monroe, WI, and again sponsored by the Swiss Center of North America. Everyone welcome.

Monday 6 June, Chicago: the now re-opened Swiss Consulate General in Chicago will host me in the city. Location and timing to be confirmed.

The events are mainly being organised and/or hosted by the Swiss Embassy and Consulates, along with local Swiss clubs, so a big thank you to everyone at the various locations. Some events may require registration so please check before you come.
