The Big Swiss Quiz 2020: Day 3 questions

December 9, 2020, No comments

Day 3 of the Big Swiss Quiz with some great prizes up for grabs, such as tickets to Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn or Titlis. There are 30 questions, with six being posted each day this week. If you missed the first rounds of questions, you can find them here: Day 1 & Day 2.

All you have to do is keep a note of your six answers each day. Do not send in today’s answers now! Details of all the prizes and rules can be found here.

Deadline is 15 December.

Each answer is a whole number (no fractions or decimal points) and by the end, you’ll have 30 numbers. Add them together and that’s your total, which is your ticket to enter into the prize draw. So, here are the next six questions:

13. The Titlis Rotair, pictured above, is a rotating cable car. What is the elevation of the top station (in metres)?

14. And how high is the summit of Mt Titlis itself?

Federal Parliament

15. Federal Parliament in Bern has two chambers: how many seats in both together?

16. Roger Federer’s first Grand Slam win was at Wimbledon but in which year?

Lugano from San Salvatore

17. Swiss intercity trains all now have numbered routes so which number is the IC from Basel to Lugano?

18. How many stars are on the cantonal flag of Valais?

Don’t submit these answers yet!

Keep them handy and come back tomorrow for the next set of questions. But you’re now one step closer to winning tickets up to Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn or Titlis – or maybe some beautiful travel posters, ski passes or a signed book.
